Put your English skills to the ultimate test and gain recognition on a global scale!
The KGL Contest English Olympiad is your opportunity to shine. Here’s everything you need to know:
- Registration & Regulations
Before participating, ensure you thoroughly review the Rules and Regulations of the KGL Contest. When registering, select the level that aligns with your current English proficiency. Failure to choose the correct level will disqualify you from being a finalist for the Global Event. You can assess your current level using the practice tests available from your KGL Country Partner.
- Stage 1
Stage 1 consists of multiple-choice questions. For Pre-A1 candidates, the test duration is 45 minutes, while all other levels are allotted 60 minutes. Your KGL Country Partner will provide details regarding the venue and test timing (*). Expect the results of Stage 1 to be released within approximately three weeks after the test.
- Stage 2
Stage 2 is more comprehensive and includes multiple-choice questions, listening, reading, and a writing task. The test duration varies depending on your level, ranging from 60 to 90 minutes. Top performers — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place contestants — as well as commendable participants, will be announced following Stage 2.
- National Prizes
National prizes are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place contestants at each level by the KGL Country Partner.
- Selection of Global Event Finalists
The number of finalists eligible to attend the Global Event from each country will be determined by your KGL Country Partner, based on overall participation within the country.
- Important Information for Finalists:
